Where has our hair gone?

Something strange has been happening over the last few weeks.  My hair has been falling out!  I seem to remember having a lovely red and white ruff around my neck but recently I have noticed it is going.

I mentioned this phenomena to Eowyn at which point she asked me to check her out to see if she had lost any.  She posed standing across the Tower of Nirvana and The Watchtower so I could check her out.

As soon as I pointed out that yes, she had lost most of her ruff she started wailing, calling out for her hair.

At this point she was all over the place looking for her hair.

Pandora then pointed out to both of us that we had been shedding our long hair as it has been warming up.  He then grumpily reminded us the downside of this was the excessive amount of furballs occurring.  I must admit I did wonder why I was getting more hair in my mouth when grooming.

Flying visits

We have renamed the second Tower of Nirvana, it shall now be known as The Watchtower.  This was decided at a meeting we all attended although it has to be wondered how much attention Schrodinger was giving to the renaming.

Anyways, I was on duty in the sentry box within the Watchtower the other day when I felt a presence near me.

I popped out to have a look around when I suddenly saw another cat looking at me.  This is Beau looking very jealous at our luxurious accommodation.  Beau lives next door but can often be seen outside getting lots of attention from strangers passing by.

I called out to Pandora to give me some backup and I have to say I was very impressed by his response.  Even in that short time Beau had decided to wander off but that did not stop Pandora literally flying to my assistance.

Later on I sat down with Eowyn and discussed the days events, always good to have a gossip.

Celebration

It's celebration time, the slaves have been shopping and have presented us with a gift.

No, not a second Eowyn, thankfully.  A large box arrived in the house which I investigated fully.

We were then removed from the box and the door was shut on us so we could not enter and pay homage to the Tower of Nirvana.  Imagine our surprise when we were let back in to find TWO, yes TWO Towers of Nirvana.

There are two hammocks for us, another den for us to hide in plus loads more platforms to rest on.  Even better it has been placed right beside the window so we can keep watch over everyone.

It turns out it was the boys birthday yesterday.  They were two years old, hmm, if they got another Tower of Nirvana for their second birthday what will Eowyn and myself get for our first birthday?
